The Tokyo Anime Center opened in front of JR Akihabara Station on March 15, 2006, as the Japan's First Anime Information Outpost.
The center offers an event gallery, a recording studio and an official shop. The event gallery organizes anime-related events such as the exhibition of the Japanese anime. The studio holds the public recording of a radio series "Anime Center Radio", broadcast every Tuesday by the Nippon Cultural Broadcasting. The voice actors participate include Miyu Matsuki, Tetsuya Kakihara. The studio also conducts trial post-recording sessions. You can try "Pokemon" , "Evangelion" , "Yatterman" and "Sasuke" on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
The official shop provides a variety of cartoon character goods, including a plethora of region-specific, event-only, mail order-only and other limited-edition merchandise not available anywhere else. Also, the UDX Theater conducts screenings of popular works and special previews of the latest visuals.
※We charge for lending of theater.
